Ideas for the ADAM DMS

Should not be able to Void RO with parts on it.

In Invoices if you hit the void op button it just removes all the parts from the RO. There should be some safeguards in place so an advisor doesnt void a line without checking to see if parts have been removed. Parts billed out need to be returned to parts and taken off RO by parts department.

If a user in service voids an operation on a repair order that has parts on it this is what happens based on that persons security levels.

If the user does have access to parts - the parts are returned to inventory and that information will show up on the Repair Order Deletions Report in Service.

If the user does not have access to parts - the user will be informed that there are parts on the operation and must be removed before they can Void the operation.

So as you said above if the user can not add parts to a repair order they can not remove parts either...the parts department (personnel) would have to remove them.
